Buckland Beacon is a granite tor above the Dart valley near Buckland-in-the-Moor, named after the fire beacon once lit here to warn of danger. Just below the top are the Ten Commandments Stones, carved for the landowner William Whitley in 1928. The view from the top is one of the finest on Dartmoor.
