Stob Coire Easain, 'peak of the corrie of the little waterfall', and its twin Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin stand 1 km apart above the west shore of Loch Treig. Locals call the pair the Easains, or 'This Yin and That Yin'. The hills have valleys on three sides, and the eastern flank plunges steeply to the loch. From the cairn there are fine views west over the Grey Corries and the Aonachs to Ben Nevis.
