Also known as Lord Hereford's Knob, Twmpa (690 m) is part of the great north-west scarp of the Black Mountains, about 3 km west of the English border and 7 km south of Hay-on-Wye. The most-used track climbs west from Gospel Pass, where there is parking, over the cairned summit, and another runs south-east along the ridge to Capel-y-ffin. Half Man Half Biscuit wrote a song named after it.
