Beinn na Lap is a smooth, rounded hill in the empty country at the top end of Rannoch Moor. The West Highland Line runs close to its foot, and from Corrour station the climb is short and simple, which makes it one of the easier Munros. A cairn marks the summit. For a much longer day, its north-east ridge can be climbed from near Strathossian House.
