Sgòr Gaibhre is a remote hill above Loch Ossian, right in the middle of the Highlands and well away from any public road. Most people come by train, getting off at Corrour or Rannoch station on the West Highland Line, or start from the B846 near Rannoch and follow a horseshoe of ridges over Beinn Pharlagain. The top has a cairn, with an embedded rock nearby that's level with its base.
