Meall Buidhe is a north-south ridge above the northern shore of Loch an Daimh, at the head of Glen Lyon, surrounded by wide moorland. Its summit cairn marks the highest point of a rather flat area, and the Glas Choire on the eastern side gives the hill some shape. From the dam at the east end of the loch it's one of the quickest Munros to climb, so many people pair it with Stuchd an Lochain across the water.
