Meall na Teanga rises above the north side of Loch Lochy and is usually climbed with Sròn a' Choire Ghairbh, across the Cam Bealach ('crooked pass'). Its name means 'hill of the tongue', probably after one of its ridges. Munro first listed it as a mere top in 1891, and it only became a Munro in 1921. A small rock marks the summit, and the view stretches across the Great Glen to the Grey Corries, the Aonachs and Ben Nevis.
