Spidean Mialach, often translated as 'peak of deer', stands on the north side of Loch Quoich and is usually climbed with its partner Gleouraich. Seen from the A87, its top looks sharp and pointed. Old stalkers' paths make the grassy southern side fairly easy going, while the north falls away in corries and rocky buttresses above Loch Loyne. A windshelter marks the summit.
