Meall nan Ceapraichean is the quieter neighbour of Beinn Dearg and Cona' Mheall, and its name is given as 'hill of the stubby hillocks'. The west side falls away steeply, while the other slopes are gentle and grassy, rising to a bouldery crest where a cairn sits on an outcrop. Dotterel and golden eagle breed on the high ground of this group of hills.
