Not to be confused with the moor of the same name near Snake Pass, this Featherbed Moss is a flat, peaty dome south of Chew Reservoir. A trig point stands on the top, though there is little else to fix your eye on. To the south the ground drops steeply towards Torside Reservoir in Longdendale, and to the east it falls into the ravine of Crowden Great Brook, where the Pennine Way runs.
