Ramshaw Rocks is a jagged line of gritstone beside the Leek to Buxton road, the eastern arm of the escarpment that also takes in The Roaches and Hen Cloud. Its best-known feature is the Winking Man, a rock rib with a hole through it that looks like a face. Driving north towards Buxton, the 'eye' seems to close and open as you pass. The top is a rocky tor, popular with climbers.
