A' Chailleach, 'the old woman', is a rugged hill at the western end of the Fannichs, set a little apart from the rest of the range along with its neighbour Sgùrr Breac. A bealach at about 550 m separates the pair from the other Fannich Munros. The easiest way up has a little scrambling on Leitir Fhearna, and the walk in passes Loch a' Bhraoin. The top is a cairn on a rocky outcrop.
