Beinn Bhreac sits high above Glen Derry in the Cairngorms, at the southern end of a wide, boggy moorland. That moorland links it to the Beinn a' Bhuird plateau across a big stretch of bare tundra. A cairn marks the summit. Almost everyone climbs it from the Linn of Dee, usually together with Beinn a' Chaorainn.
