Beinn nan Aighenan is thought to mean 'mountain of the hinds', and it's one of the more remote Munros in the Central Highlands, largely hidden behind Ben Starav. Most people reach it by a stalkers' path to the col between Glas Bheinn Mhor and Ben Starav, then a faint path to the top, often adding it to a round of its neighbours. A cairn sits on the summit, with the highest point a boulder 15 m to the north.
