Beinn Sheasgarnaich, often written Beinn Heasgarnich, is a big, sprawling hill in Breadalbane, just south of Loch Lyon. Its Gaelic name is translated as 'mountain of the sheltered place'. Peat bog surrounds it like a moat, and most people come up from the high point of the Lairig nan Lunn road between Glen Lochay and Glen Lyon. The top has a large cairn.
