Sitting on the long ridge on the north side of Glen Strathfarrar, with Sgurr na Ruaidhe to the east and Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais to the west, this is a round-shouldered hill whose name means 'hill of the goats'. Confusingly, another Munro of almost the same height and the same name stands on the far side of the glen. Easy slopes lead up to a flat top scattered with angular boulders around the cairn, and the views stretch east to the Beauly and Cromarty Firths.
