This Carn nan Gobhar stands above the north shore of Loch Mullardoch in upper Glen Cannich, its name Gaelic for 'cairn of the goats'. The top is a broad, flat ridge with two cairns: the smaller northern one marks the summit, while the big cairn to the south is several metres lower. South-facing Coire an t-Sith, the 'corrie of the fairies', is its finest feature, and its north-east top, Creag Dubh, was a separate Munro from 1891 until 1921.
