Mullach na Dheiragain lies on a long ridge reaching north-east from Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan, deep in the hills north of Glen Affric. The name is usually given as 'summit of the hawk'. A cairn marks the top, and the ridge has steep, craggy drops on both sides, falling most sharply west into Gleann Sithidh. Its subsidiary top, Mullach Sithidh, stands just to the east.
