Sgurr an Doire Leathain is the third Munro from the western end of the South Glen Shiel ridge, linked by ridges to Sgurr an Lochain and Maol Chinn-dearg. Its southern side drops in steep grassy slopes to Glen Quoich, while the northern side is cut into corries, craggy towards the eastern end. A cairn marks the summit.
