Creag nan Damh is the most westerly peak of the South Glen Shiel Ridge, standing between Glen Shiel and Loch Hourn. Its name is Gaelic for 'crag of the stags', and the top is a rocky outcrop with a lower cairn just to the east. An old wall with iron posts runs along the crest, and stalkers' paths cross the slopes. Looking west, the views take in the Forcan Ridge, Knoydart and glimpses of Skye.
