Stob Coire a' Chairn, 'peak of the corrie of the cairn', is the most central summit in the Mamores, with ridges heading north to An Gearanach, south-west to Am Bodach and south-east to Na Gruagaichean. Its top is a rough pile of stones, and it looks across to Glen Coe and its hills. For years it wasn't even named on OS maps, and most people know it as part of the Ring of Steall.
