Stob Coire Raineach is one of two Munros on Buachaille Etive Beag, the 'little herdsman of Etive', a 3 km ridge between Glen Coe and Glen Etive. It only gained Munro status in its own right in 1997. The broad top, a rock outcrop beside a cairn, gives good views of the Aonach Eagach ridge.
