Stob na Bròige is the south-western end of Buachaille Etive Mòr, the 'great herdsman of Etive', whose ridge runs for nearly five miles and is almost wrapped round by the River Etive and the River Coupall. The Scottish Mountaineering Club made it a Munro in its own right in 1997. There's a large cairn on top, with the highest point on a rock just to the north-east, and steep grassy slopes fall away to Glen Etive.
