The Cairnwell rises straight above the Cairnwell Pass, where the A93 crosses its shoulder, and from the road up the pass it looks like a neat cone. The Glenshee Ski Centre covers its eastern slopes and starts at about 650 m, so this is probably the easiest Munro to climb. The summit has a huge cairn, though communication masts and ski equipment mean it's often called one of the most spoiled Munros. It's a good viewpoint all the same.
