Cairn of Claise is said to mean 'hill of the hollow'. Its cairn sits on a rocky knoll above the high plateau east of Glenshee, with one of the long estate walls that cross these hills running nearby. It's usually climbed over Carn an Tuirc, and from the top you look back across to Glas Maol.
