Creag Leacach means 'slabby rock', and its summit is a bouldery crest with a cairn sitting on a rib of rock. An old wall and a line of fence posts run along its spine, which is handy for finding your way in mist. It looks down on the old Devil's Elbow road at the head of Glen Shee, where most walkers start, and it links north to the big dome of Glas Maol.
