Topping the east ridge of Erw y Ddafad-ddu, Foel Hafod-fynydd (689 m) is a subsidiary summit of Aran Fawddwy in southern Snowdonia. The lake of Creiglyn Dyfi lies in the bowl between it and Aran Fawddwy. Its grassy summit is marked by a few stones, and the highest ground is about 15 m north-east of the cairn, among a scattering of slate.
