Broom Fell is a grassy hump on the ridge west of Lord's Seat, with conifers of the Darling How Plantation on its southern side. A stone wall climbs from Aiken Beck and stops at the top, linked to no other wall, and nobody knows why it was built. Wainwright's tall cairn stands a short way north-west, but the true highest point is unmarked heather, and on clear days you can see across the Solway Firth to Criffel in Scotland.
