Featherbed Top is the bare, flat summit of the moor just south of the highest point of the Snake Pass road, on the north side of Kinder Scout. There is nothing on top to mark it, just a broad spread of peat where the high point is hard to pin down. The Pennine Way crosses the Snake Pass road a little under a kilometre to the north. The surrounding moor is called Featherbed Moss, a name it shares with another moor further north.
