Harboro Rocks is a jagged ridge of buttresses and pinnacles near Brassington, looking over Carsington Water. Its natural cave has signs of people from the Ice Age onwards, and in 1726 Daniel Defoe wrote of a lead miner's family of seven living in it. The trig point sits a few metres from the true top, a rock outcrop. The rocks are popular with climbers, and the High Peak Trail runs along the foot of the hill.
