Higger Tor is a flat-topped block of gritstone on the moors west of Sheffield, with tors at both ends of a rocky summit plateau. It looks down over the Burbage Valley to Carl Wark, a small Iron Age hill fort just to the south-east. Climbers come for the Leaning Block, an overhanging slab on its edge, and Higger Tor appears in the background of a scene from the 1987 film The Princess Bride, shot at Carl Wark.
