High Edge is a limestone hill above Harpur Hill on the south side of Buxton. The highest point is beside one of two machine-gun bunkers that guarded RAF Harpur Hill, an underground RAF ammunition store opened in 1938. A lower top 400 m to the north-west has a cairn. On the north-west side of the hill is Buxton Raceway, an oval motor-racing track that opened in 1974 under the name High Edge.
