Snailsden Pike End stands on the northern fringe of the Dark Peak, above the Snailsden and Winscar reservoirs near Dunford Bridge. A large cairn marks the top. From here you look south over Winscar towards the Woodhead Pass, and north across South and West Yorkshire. Snailsden Reservoir is the highest in a chain of reservoirs that supply north-west Sheffield.
