A' Bhuidheanach Bheag, the 'little yellow place', probably takes its name from the coarse yellow grass on its slopes. It's a gentle rise on the wide plateau east of Drumochter, with a trig point and old iron fence posts, and the true high point is a patch of ground a few metres away. The plateau is featureless, so a compass is handy in mist. On its eastern side, the steep-sided Cama Choire bites deep into the hill.
