Ben Vorlich, one of the Arrochar Alps, rises between Loch Lomond and Loch Sloy, and it's the highest point of the old county of Dunbartonshire. Its long north-south ridge carries three small tops. The highest is the middle one, where a cairn sits on a rocky outcrop, while the trig point stands on the lower southern top. A side ridge called the Little Hills drops east to the loch shore, above the A82 and the West Highland Line.
