The Inaccessible Pinnacle, An Stac in Gaelic, is a blade of rock perched on top of Sgurr Dearg in the Skye Cuillin, and it's the only Munro you can only reach by rock climbing. The brothers Charles and Lawrence Pilkington made the first ascent in August 1880 by the exposed east ridge. The very top is an upright boulder, and most people come down by abseiling off the west end. Sir Hugh Munro never stood on it.
