Sgùrr nan Coireachan means 'peak of the corries', and the summit sits where several of them meet, with hollows to the south-west, south and east. The highest point is a rocky outcrop right beside an Ordnance Survey trig pillar. It's the western half of the Corryhully horseshoe above Glenfinnan, paired with Sgùrr Thuilm, and the view west runs along Loch Morar towards Rum and Skye.
