Standing alone above Dolwyddelan, Moel Siabod is the highest peak of the Moelwynion at 872.2 m, and on a clear day it is reputedly possible to see 13 of the 15 highest peaks in Wales from the top without turning your head. The most popular route starts at Plas y Brenin in Capel Curig, with other paths from Pont Cyfyng and Dolwyddelan. The highest rock is a few metres west-south-west of the trig point.
