Seldom visited and without well-trodden paths, Post Gwyn (665 m) is the highest bump on the most westerly of Cadair Berwyn's long south ridges, the western outpost of the main central Berwyn range. A few stones mark the top, which looks over Cwm Rhiwarth. The ridge carries on south towards Glan-hafon.
