Longlands Fell is the north-western corner of the Uldale Fells, where the Northern Fells fade into the low country, and a cairn sits on its top. In the 19th century a copper mine was worked on the fell, and one of its levels now feeds water to Uldale. Looking north, you see the Solway Firth and the hills of Galloway, while Skiddaw fills the view south.
