Bleaberry Fell rises about 4 km south of Keswick, with Walla Crag as its outlier above Derwentwater. Its heather-covered top has several cairns and a wind shelter, which Wainwright took as the summit, though a rock outcrop just to the east is as high or higher. The all-round view takes in all the major fell groups, and Derwentwater shows best from the north-west cairn.
