Cold Pike sits on the southern edge of the Crinkle Crags massif, above Wrynose Pass. Its summit plateau has three rocky tops spread out from east to west, and the highest has a cairn perched on a small tor. A broad, grassy col links it to Pike o' Blisco, and the River Duddon rises there. From the top you look across Wrynose Bottom to the Coniston Fells and up to Crinkle Crags.
