Pike o' Blisco stands on its own between Great Langdale and Wrynose, with a steep, rocky summit cone topped by a cairn. The Ordnance Survey calls it Pike of Blisco; the shorter form was Wainwright's favourite. North of Red Tarn are the pits of an iron ore mine worked from 1860 to 1875, and the main path up from the tarn was first made for it. From the top there's a fine view across Langdale to the Langdale Pikes.
