Rossett Pike sits at the head of Mickleden in Great Langdale, between Rossett Gill and Stake Pass. Its highest point is a rock just west of the summit cairn, and from a lower cairn to the east you look straight down into Mickleden, with the Langdale Pikes in view. The path up Rossett Gill was once notorious for its loose stones, but it has since been stone-pitched on its way up to Angle Tarn.
